Who I am
In 2005, while attending UW-Stout in Menomonie, and working on a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Restaurant Management my career plans changed drastically. I’d been talking with one of my professors and mentioned that I’d like to grocery shop and prepare meals for people/families in their home. He smiled and said, “Jodi…that is a personal chef and it’s one of the fastest growing careers there is right now.”
Since then becoming a personal chef has been my primary focus.
Six months after graduating from UW-Stout, I became a student at the Art Institute International- Minneapolis, MN where I received my Associate’s in Culinary Arts in 2009.
In 2010, I launched my own business, Jodi’s Personal Chef and Culinary Services. That same year I also joined the USPCA (United States Personal Chef Association). I have to say, the USPCA is an association like no other! Their support and guidance goes above 100%!
For several years, I steadily grew my business while working two additional part time jobs. Then, in 2015, I began to devote myself, full time, to the growth and expansion of my business.
To offer more services and provide a personalized experience for individuals, families or groups. I do this by preparing and cooking meals for them, offering cooking classes, grocery shopping lessons, in-home parties or whatever else someone needs to help put good and healthy food, on their table!
